Travelling can be broadly characterised as the journey from
one place to another. This blog will challenge the simplicity of this
definition, by drawing upon the range of experiences, insights and knowledge of
the members of this blog. The members of this blog, the travel bugs, come from diverse backgrounds and experiences of
travelling.
Hasveen is a student at Macquarie University, currently
completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws combined degree. Over
her life, she has enjoyed traveled extensively for a range of purposes
including living as an expat, leisurely holidays and work.
Lauren is in her second year at Macquarie University but is
currently in her first year completing a Bachelor of Information Technology.
Lauren has always had a passion for travel and enjoyed learning how different
cultures live all over the world. She believes that travel broadens the mind
and opens it to new ideas and understandings as well as allowing one to share
their knowledge and insight to differing societies.
Wasen is a student at Macquarie University, currently
completing Bachelor of Arts and bachelor of Education. She has traveled many
times, mostly for visiting family and friends. She has visited countries like
Canada, Iran, Emirate, Malaysia and Singapore.
Christopher Lam currently studies at Macquarie University and is doing a Bachelor of Commerce. He has made contributions to student life by being involved a number of societies and executives on campus; especially in the St. Dominic Catholic Society and the Catholic Asian Student Society (CASS). Dedicated to the pursuit of truth and wisdom, he occasionally enjoys reading books on philosophy and Catholic theology. As well as enjoying long walks on the beach, in his free time, he admires art and listens to Latin hymns. He has been to New Zealand and the Gold Coast, Queensland and is planning to go to Krakow, Poland in 2016.
